A mine's cave in prompts the New England Mining Company to send out two of its best to a small rural Massachusetts town for an investigation. Four man have died and the company needs to know if the mine is safe to bring production back online. The new geologist and structural engineer for the site had given the OK to dig in the location but is baffled that the cave in revealed an enormous cavern previously undiscovered. A structural engineer and a safety inspector for the company are sent to get the facts and determine the safety of the site in hopes that production can continue. Listen to the game...

After finding a young boy wandering outside of Arkham the investigators stopped to help and find him looking for a Professor Gist. He tells the investigators that his sister has been kidnapped and he needs help. They help the boy get to Professor Gist's farmhouse outside of Arkham and after speaking with the professor the house is attacked. Several of the group are injured in the incident and the perpetrators escape before anyone can get a good look at them. Left with injured members and vehicles that have been tampered with, the investigators begin to believe that this young boy is involved in something that goes well beyond the kidnapping of his sister.
