Leo Anderson is contracted, through his friend Harlen Earnstone, by the esteemed Miskatonic University to help with logistics and security for an expedition into the untamed wilds of southern Mexico. Besides his own people, Leo found no one of considerable merit besides a scrappy explorer named Ursala Downs who managed to secure a spot on the expedition through some unconventional means.
